The summer fashion study abroad is conducted on an individual basis, in which each student is privately instructed. Thanks to our concise and structured method of teaching, we can offer a significant and complete experience in a short period of time. Both students who are just beginning in the fashion field and those who already have studied or possess work experience will benefit from this course.
We don't teach a particular style (the same for all students) here at the school we build specifically on the individuals style with teaching head to head.

Prior to beginning the lessons, each student will decide which program is appropriate with the aid of their instructor, there are three level available:
Basic: starting from zero, not have any design experience
Advanced: for who have already studied
Professional: for who have already studied or already work in the fashion field.

The subject available in the summer study abroad program are:

FASHION DESIGN - STUDY ABROAD (You can decide to attend the course for Man, Woman or Children)
DRAWING TECHNIQUES: Basic Figure Drawing - Colouring Technique - Color Theory - Colour rendering - Personal Sketching Style
COLLECTION: Creativeness - Fashion Trends - Fashion Collection on Demand - Components of a Collection (combining creativity, design, technique, and the market) - Planning a Collection - Designing a Personal Collection (based on an individual theme).

PATTERN MAKING - STUDY ABROAD (You can decide to attend the course for Man, Woman or Children)
TECHNIQUES: Alta Moda (Haute-Couture), Tailor Sewing Techniques, Industrial Sewing Methods, Planning Techniques
PATTERN MAKING: Pattern Making - Pattern Lay-Out - Finishing Touch - Machine Sewing

FASHION DESIGN and PATTERN MAKING (FASHION STYLIST) - STUDY ABROAD (You can decide to attend the course for Man, Woman or Children)
DRAWING TECHNIQUES: Basic figure drawing - Colouring Technique - Colour Theory - Colour Rendering - Personal Sketching Style

With a fashion specialist where the students can ask everything about Fashion System, 2009 -2010 world trends collections and strategies of the leading European designers

Fashion summer course has two kinds of attendance:

Course of 100 hours + 4 hours seminar
Duration: 4 weeks
Attendance: morning and afternoon
Course of 50 hours + 4 hours seminar
Duration A: 4 weeks
Attendance: you can choose morning or afternoon

Duration B: 2 weeks (you can decide the weeks in July that you prefer follow the course)
Attendance: Morning and Afternoon

Only the students that have already experience in the fashion field can choose 50 hours Pattern Making and Fashion Design program both, otherwise it's possible choose only one subject (Pattern Making or Fashion Design) or the 100 hours course.

One lesson last 3 hours. Lessons are from Monday to Thursday having two different school time:

Morning 9:00 - 12:00
Afternoon 14:00 - 17:00

Course of 100 hours has two lessons per day (morning and afternoon)
Course of 50 hours has one lesson per day choosing morning or afternoon or it possible arrange the lessons in accordance with student necessity. As an example one lesson per day for 4 weeks (only morning or afternoon) or two lessons per day for two weeks (morning and afternoon) or choosing others combinations

Prices of the course:

Enrollment Fee 500 Euro

Euro 1700 - 100 hours course + 4 hours seminar
Euro 1000 - 50 hours course + 4 hours seminar

Including in the price there are: Books (Italian/English), Set Squares and Seminars

In the summer program abroad the lessons are in English and in Italian language.

To the end of the fashion summer course each student will have certificate of attendance and the mark on his talent.
